Vanessa Beyer and Lisa Trebs launched (K)Einheit 2022 as a film project. They grew up in the South of Leipzig, are part of Generation Z and now live in Chemnitz and Bonn. It was only through their experiences outside East Germany that they became aware of their East German identity. As they became increasingly East German, the desire arose to shape other perspectives on the East and to actively deal with the challenges of the new federal states. With the series documentary “(K)Einheit - How Gen Z thinks about the East” and their voluntary work as co-project managers of (K)Einheit, they want to process their thoughts in creative and participatory processes and make them accessible to you.
